Philanthropy
The Idaho Energy Complex is proud to be an active member of the Idaho and Owyhee County community. Current IEC sponsorships include:

Mountain Home High School

Rimrock Jr. Sr. High School

Owyhee County Rodeo

The Cenarrusa Foundation for Basque Culture

March of Dimes

Bruneau Rodeo

Additionally, the IEC plans to convert land surrounding its proposed nuclear/bio-fuel generation facility into a wildlife preserve in order to protect and encourage Idaho wildlife in Owyhee County. The preserve would not be instated until after the completion of IEC’s construction and pre-operational testing in 2015; more information will become available as the project develops.

CEO Don Gillispie states, “We at the IEC are honored to be part of such a warm and open rural community. As a local enterprise, we look forward to further opportunities to support and benefit the people of Owyhee County.”
