Welcome to Idaho Energy Complex Corporation - The new frontier of green energy.

IEC is an Idaho corporation founded by a distinguished board of retired senior executives from the utilities industry. With the mission of providing emissions-free power and statewide energy independence, IEC is developing a proposed nuclear/biofuels generation complex in Elmore County, Idaho. The clean energy produced by the Idaho Energy Complex would be sufficient to power Idaho, as well as allow local economic growth by the creation of jobs and sale of electricity throughout the west.

The facility will feature advanced reliability and safety features in addition to a new ‘dry’ nuclear reactor design which does not require large amounts of water. Also, the IEC will use the plant’s excess heat to produce biofuels, thereby further reducing cooling requirements and giving local farmers a market for their crops and agricultural waste. The biofuels component is contingent on market demand.
